GOD has a plan for every puppy born here. Some just stick around a little longer than others waiting for their forever home.

Why do we have so many slightly older available pups?

Well, the oldest ones, which is most of them, are from an issue during the Covid outbreak. We used to travel for showing and trialing quite a bit. We suspect that we brought something home with us unexpectedly and it affected our babies. This virus has spread across the country since then and killed a lot of puppies, unfortunately. It even affects healthy, vaccinated adult dogs. It was similar to parvo, but not parvo, if that makes sense. With treatment, the pups rebounded quickly. This is not the case with parvo. Since we are responsible breeders, we took everyone off the market. Once we were sure that all was well, we listed them again. At that time they were 5-6 months of age. Most people prefer a younger puppy so here they are. We have tightened our biosecurity even further so this will not ever happen again. This is why we do not allow on farm visits.
