Our family was looking for a new puppy to add to our family and provide companionship for our Boston Terrier, Ruby. We have three young children, so I was searching for a breed that would make a great family dog. I found Jennifer’s website, Sandy Hill Farms Aussies, and saw some pictures of the cutest litter of Aussiedoodles. I immediately started researching the breed and reached out to Jennifer to get some information on the litter. She taught me a lot about the breed, answered all my questions and asked about our family. Once we decided on one of the pups, Jennifer was very helpful in preparing us to bring her home. She gave me a list of supplies to get, the right food and vitamins to buy, and sent us pictures and videos of our pup until it was time for us to pick her up. As soon as we met Jennifer and our new pup, Opal, it was extremely evident how much Jennifer loves her pups! She made the pick up process easy and informative. Jennifer met with us for two hours and told us everything we needed to know to help her transition to our home as seamless as possible. Once we got Opal home, Jennifer continued to check in on Opal and see home we were adjusting. She loves getting pictures and updates and always answers my questions whenever I reach out. I would absolutely recommend Jennifer as a trusted breeder if you are looking for a healthy, well loved pet!

️️️We had an amazing experience with Sandy Hill Farm Aussies. Jennifer made our search for the perfect puppy seamless. She was quick to answer all of our questions, and address any concerns we had prior to deciding on one of her puppies.
Jennifer spent about two hours with us going over information we would need to know about our new puppy. We were definitely well prepared and knew exactly what to expect when we brought him home.
After bringing Chip home, Jennifer has always been, and still is- a phone call or text away when we have any questions. She is super responsive, and still cares about our puppy!
Chip is the perfect size we wanted, and has an excellent temperament. He plays well with our children, is an amazing traveler, and fits right in with our family.
If you’re trying to decide whether or not to use SHFA, here’s your sign! Do it! These puppies will be the perfect addition to your family. You won’t regret it!

“Jennifer was very informative about purchasing our Aussie. From meeting us on a snowy day to giving us our instructions on how to train our Aussie. She has answered all our questions and been hands on the 2 years we have had our dog. The Aussie has been our Angel in everything, and everything she said he would be. If you are thinking of getting an Aussie, she would be my first choice. Upfront and honest. Thank you Jennifer.”

“We bought our first mini Aussie Bridget with Jennifer two years ago. It only took two weeks to teach her to bring her leash and halter to us. We went to obedience classes before she was a year old and got our canine good citizen completed. She is a sweet dog and now visits as a therapy dog. We were so impressed with Jennifer and her support that we are now awaiting our second mini Aussie from her kennel. I have never encountered a breeder like her that answers all my questions even when I didn’t know much about Australian Shepherd‘s. She made me feel confident and a part of her family . There’s no one else that I could recommend more highly.“

For almost a decade I was on the lookout for an Australian Shepherd. I have a condition that causes me to have episodes of anxiety. I knew having a pet could give me not only a distraction and something to care about, but a companion too. After moving back into my childhood home with a nice backyard, I decided it was time to begin my search, for real. I opened my laptop and searched for available puppies on a few sites. As soon as I saw this gorgeous blue merle puppy, I knew I had to have him. His adorable heart shaped nose and mix matched eyes won my heart.
I contacted Jennifer instantly and she was beyond personable, friendly, and trustworthy. Jennifer is located in Indiana and I’m in New Jersey. I had my fears about obtaining a puppy who had flown, but Jennifer assured me that my Remy would reach me Safely. the day before his arrival, i had a panic attack. this was common when i got overwhelmed.
After months of conversations and videos / photos of my soon to be best friend, Remy arrived in Philadelphia. Safe and adorable. Jennifer did not even cash the check I mailed to her until he was in my arms. Jennifer walked me through the whole process and stayed on the phone with me until I had him in my arms. Not only is she a breeder, but she quickly became a friend, and supportive figure in more ways than one. She also sent Remy with a care package to help me get started caring for my new puppy the right way!
After 2 years, my boy has effortlessly filled our family with joy and laughter. I feel much more at ease going into the world and coming home each day to my sweet pup. My mother, who isn’t really an animal person, fell in love too. I cherish and adore my Aussie and strong friendship with Jennifer! This has been one of the best choices I’ve made in my adult life!

After searching long and hard for the “perfect dog” for us we decided on a Mini-Aussie and it certainly was the right choice. The pup we selected from Sandy Hill Farm Aussies is gorgeous, healthy, energetic, lovable, and quite playful. Just what we were looking for.

I adopted my mini black tri almost a year ago. I could not be any more happy with my baby. A bit larger than a toy, he is the perfect size for me. He has such a wonderful temperament that my vet asked me who my breeder was. She said not many Aussies are as well tempered as mine. He loves all people and creatures and is quite the snuggle bug. Indy is heathy, handsome and so smart. We get compliments all the time. I can never thank Jennifer enough for choosing me to join her puppy family. My guy was exactly what I was searching for.

From the very first phone call I had with Jennifer I knew this is where our next family pup would come from. Her passion and care for her adult dogs down to her pups was so apparent. Our new pup Harley is so smart and the potty training was a breeze with Jennifer’s training program. We can’t wait to adopt from her again 🙂 An amazing experience!

Last year, after suffering the truly heartbreaking loss of our 9 year old 110 pound American Bulldog, and feeling completely unable to ever go through that again … we met a Toy Aussie on a camping trip and were flipped immediately. Much internet trolling got us to Sandy Hill Farm and Jennifer (thank God) and right before Christmas we drove 1400 miles in three days to pick up the sweetest, tiniest, 12 week old puppy. Jennifer made the process secure and easy. She thought of every need and contingency, taking such good care of us with all things dog and our long journey in winter and even Covid safety. She let me ask every question both before and after we got Indy. And believe me there were a ton of them, this being our first small dog. And what a dog! Affectionate, smart, easy going, full of personality, biddable, lots of energy but also perfectly happy to just lay in my lap and take a nap. She’s beautiful and patient and sweet and healthy and has been really easy to train. Our whole family has been so happy with her that our son bought her sibling from a younger litter last summer. I’ve also taken to carrying Jennifer’s business cards because so many people stop me and ask where we got Indy. Jennifer is the absolute best. She’s family!!

2020 was such an insane year and my wife and I knew it was time to add a new family member. Our kiddos (Oliver 9, Roman 6 and Veyda 2) had begged us for years for a puppy. I knew that if we did this it had to be the perfect puppy. I did my research and found Jennifer at Sandy Hill Farm Aussies. She was extremely helpful to prepare for the little one. She even drove to us to help surprise our kids for Christmas! She made sure everything was perfect and even helped our kids understand the importance and responsibilities of a new pet. She has been there for us still today with any questions that may arise. Our beautiful pup Tinny (Tinsel) has been the ideal pup and breed. We are so thankful to have found Sandy Hill Farm Aussies.

Jennifer’s dog Cricket has joined us in my dental office while Jennifer was receiving dental treatment over the past year. Cricket has always been calm, attentive and quiet. If I had not seen her with my own eyes, I would have not believed that she was in Jennifer’s lap.
On a recent visit Jennifer was in my dental chair for nearly five hours while Cricket did not interrupt any procedure and quietly obeyed hand and verbal commands flawlessly. Even when the lead apron, worn during x-ray exposures, which is heavy, was placed over Cricket and Jennifer, Cricket was well mannered.
Cricket was unbothered by the sound of the high-pitched dental hand piece and other office noises. She was not distracted by personnel leaving and entering the operatory.
I have never seen a dog with her demeaner. I do not know what Jennifer does to train her dogs but she is doing something right. Maybe she is that hard to find “dog whisperer”.
I have not seen such a well-trained dog in my office during my 42 years of practice.

We lost our precious Libby in December last year and after a few months of grieving, our family decided to look for a new companion to brighten our lives. Our daughter started searching for a new puppy and in her search she came across Sandy Hill Farm Aussies and we started a conversation with Jennifer, the owner of Sandy Hill. We were so comfortable with her approach of evaluating potential homes for her puppies and the fact that she would be there for us as our new addition became a part of our family. We picked up our baby Oliver in February 2021 and it has simply made our day to day lives better. Beyond Jennifer’s thorough sharing of the important and detailed information needed to fully understand the care required for this breed, she has been in consistent contact throughout the year and has been there for us whenever we have had questions. Oliver is such a sweet addition to our family, we sometimes think of pursuing another puppy and if we do, we would only work with Jennifer at Sandy Hill Farm Aussies. What a great experience. We love our Oliver. Thank you Jennifer.

Our family had been looking for several months to adopt a rescue dog, but when we realized there was such a thing as a Toy Australian Shepherd, we were hooked! We located Jennifer and Sandy Hill Farm Aussies online and when we saw the various puppies she had available we instantly fell in love with a little red tri female that we named Hazel. I reached out to Jennifer and she was very helpful in letting us know the various things we needed to purchase prior to picking Hazel up. She talked with me a number of times over the phone and we shared dozens of text messages.
Just before our pick-up date, Hazel started coughing and Jennifer reached out and let us know she thought it would be best to hold off for a few more days just to make sure she was good to go (which she was). I appreciated this because it showed she cared about Hazel, but also wanted us to have a good experience and a healthy puppy. Once she was comfortable with Hazel’s health, we agreed to meet. Jennifer spent over an hour with us (outside in the freezing cold) to make sure we had everything we needed but also to help us understand the Aussie breed better and what to expect in the coming weeks with Hazel. We have maintained communication with her throughout the past year, sharing pictures of Hazel and our adventures, but also reaching out to her to watch Hazel for us while we went on a vacation. We trust that she has our and Hazel’s best interests at heart.
Hazel is an adorable, incredibly smart, very active girl and we love everything about her. She is about the cutest dog we’ve ever seen. She is now just over a year old and weighs about 11 pounds. She comes with us everywhere (except the aforementioned vacation) – she rides great with us in the car and we have even successfully flown with her across the country. She is great with other people and with other dogs. She just has a sweet personality.

I was looking for an aussiedoodle for my son, who suffers from severe anxiety. After tons of research, I found Sandy Hill Farms. What a blessing! Oree came to our lives in August of 2020. She quickly adjusted to everyone and created a special bond with my son…and with me. She has such an amazing temperament and I can only describe her as an old soul. Jennifer helped us every step of the way and she too became part of our family. We wanted for Oree to have a sister so I immediately reached out to Jennifer for her thoughts. In October 2021, Nilla joined us. We are now complete. I don’t have enough words to describe our love for our pups and how grateful we are for Jennifer. She is always available for advice and even sends Christmas presents to her grandpups! Her pups are bred with love and are just amazing!
